Just a quick update on the status of the DVD. We just got the final cut back from the editor and the next stop is the pressers. Pre-orders will be available in November! Extreme Kidnapping Vol. 1 "The Henchman" will feature actual news footage of kidnapping features from various news organizations and never before seen "fly on the wall" kidnapping footage of some of our craziest capers. This disk really sums up the kidnapping for entertainment industry which we pioneered and has since been copied and emulated around the world. More news in the pipeline, stay tuned..

Kidnapping DVD in the works!

Hey everyone out there. Sorry I haven't been taking care of the blog but life gets hectic sometimes and even kidnappers get caught up some time. That said, I want to address a topic that has come up time and time again over the years, and that is videos. I have been asked for videos of kidnappings over and over and over again. My answer has always been, simply, "no, we don't have any." There was a time, before the blog, on the old site, where we had a variety of videos posted, most were of news features or segments for TV, but some did show some kidnapping action. People have said they want to see kidnappings both of the henchman and the girls team. People from across the pond and all over who can't get to the states or simply didn't want to drop the cash for a kidnap adventure have said they'd gladly buy a dvd...if they were available. I've never really seriously thought about making a dvd until recently. I came across a box full of video that we've taken over the years. I said to myself, "self, this should be plenty of material to make a dvd, maybe even 2..." So, I've finally decided to release a Extremekidnapping DVD! Yes, that is the big news folks, finally, you'll be able to see real kidnapping action from start to finish.

I would like some input though. What do you want to see first? A henchman compilation or a Elite Girls Team comp? Some of the videos will likely be individual capers because we have so much footage, but I'd like to know what YOU want to see. Yes, YOU. If someone calls you, and tells you they have a family member, friend, or someone you know held captive, your first priority is NOT to rush out and send the supposed kidnappers money. Your first move is to find out who they have, and then verify that information yourself! Its called due diligence, and can save you alot of money. These scammers are randomly calling people, telling them they kidnapped someone they know, yet can't provide any info on the captive...this should be a clue! Always find out if they are telling the truth before you even consider sending money. This simple tip would have saved these people some money! These tele-kidnappers get a A- for creativity, and a D for logical strategy. For this to work effectively, the kidnappers should know details about the person they supposedly have kidnapped. Then again, its a sort of fraud that plays on the 'shock and awe' of a kidnapping threat so its really just a numbers game. Call enough people, a small % will respond with money. Always think it through!

The Standard Kidnap; lasts 10 hours, cost $1000 usd

*the deluxe is for people that want longer durations of captivity, more complex scenarios, additional kidnappers, and whatever else they come up with.

Another fake kidnapping gone wrong

This is one of the more absurd fake kidnappings I've heard of in recent years. Often couples try to stage kidnappings for the purposes of "role playing" and adult fun, sometimes people kidnap their friends as a prank, or to just create a scene for kicks. This case is odd in that the kidnapping was staged merely to frighten someone who the perpetrators say was abusive to one of them. In the end, people were arrested, charged, and sentenced. As I've said before, and will say again, leave the kidnapping to the professionals! Kidnapping is considered a very serious offense by LE (law enforcement), and whether or not you claim "it was a joke" or whatever excuse you've concocted, its not going to be enough. There will be consequences. Why put yourself at risk? If you truly want to be kidnapped, or want to create a kidnapping scene that satisfies your requirements without exposing you to criminal prosecution, you need to consult Extremekidnapping. Two men accused of extorting thousands of dollars from a San Jose woman in a kidnapping scam

As a kidnapping consultant, I like to analyze kidnappings in the news and see what went wrong and how it might have been prevented. In this case, the kidnappers were perpetrating a scam. There was no real hostage. In fact, the "kidnapper" created a fictional story to elicit the ransom from the woman, who was the real victim in this case. After paying the first ransom request, the kidnapper then claimed he himself was kidnapped which finally raised enough suspicion with the woman that she called the police. Its clear this woman knew the man, and obviously trusted him to some degree. The man preyed on this trust and was able to obtain thousands of dollars based on a fictional story. The key thing to remember is to always do your due diligence BEFORE handing over money. This woman was operating on only one persons version of events. Always do your threat assessment first. Ask for proof. Had she kept a dialogue going with this man, and paid close attention to the details, its likely that his story would have changed over time. Liars tend to forget small, minute details, and in situations like these, the devils in the details. This could have been prevented had she opened a dialogue and asked for more information before giving him the money. This scammers story would have likely fallen apart with a bit of research on her part. Unfortunately, in situations like these, many people are simply shocked by the perceived event and emotion takes over. Stay calm, be rational, think it through..
